ACRL Washington State Chapter Board Description:

Composition:
The Board of Directors shall consist of the elected officers (President, Vice President/President-Elect, Immediate Past-President, Secretary/Newsletter Editor and Treasurer); the two elected Members-at-Large; and the appointed position of Webmaster). All members are voting members.
Duties:
- Direct the affairs of the Chapter, and conduct all business pertaining to the Chapter. The Board of Directors shall have authority between meetings.
- Hold at least two meetings a year. One is to be held in conjunction with the Chapter's fall meeting and the other to be held in the spring at a time and venue determined by the President. Other meetings may be called as necessary. A quorum for the Board shall be four members.
- The Board of Directors may authorize standing and ad hoc committees. The Board of Directors may discontinue or declare inactive any committee.
- In the event that a Member-at-Large, Secretary/Newsletter Editor, Treasurer or Webmaster cannot complete his/her term, the Board shall appoint a member to fill that position.
